Laser Tattoo Removal

We use a Nd Q-switch Yag laser for tattoo removal. Removal takes multiple treatments to achieve—dependent on pigment quality, tone and application…

Laser tattoo removal gives very good results. The process is not immediate. The laser blasts the tattoo pigment and fractures the pigment into smaller particles. Your body will absorb the fragmented color and break it down naturally. The sessions are relatively quick depending on the size of the tattoo. Your skin will be numbed beforehand and left on for sufficient time. Depending on how many times one gets the same area tattooed will determine how many sessions required to disperse the pigment.  After 5-6 visits at 4-8 week intervals the tattoo may be completely cleared. Some colors take longer than others to be completely cleared. Lighter colors may require more visits and dark colors will respond quicker. Dark blue, dark orange, red and black respond quicker  whereas light brown, light orange, light blue, light green and purple take longer. Amateur tattoos respond better than professional ones. The laser is also great for permanent make up removal, age spots, pigmentation and birth marks.
